Wife in the hospital. A bunch of kid activities. Why not kick off the refresh of the exterior of the house and have the roof done. They figure they will have it done by tonight!

Commuting from LHR to ATL has got to be a total bear.

Your house and yard look like a setting for a fairy tale. But probably one of the more frightening ones..no offense.

A lot of newer houses are. Ours was built in 1978 and the materials are pretty good.
The missus is doing ok. Hanging out at the hospital on antibiotics. Likely to Will have to have surgery. I bought her our PS3 so she can watch Netflix.

It looks pretty friendly most of the time. The mosquitoes seem to like it.

I like the neo-E lizabethian style of your house. I hope your wife heals well and all else goes well.

I’m sure. I just have scenes from Hansel and Gretel stuck in my head!
I miss living in the woods. I have one tree on my property and it’s half- dead.

I kind of like these 70s era tudors with their hit-and-miss half timbering and jerkinhead gables. There are some very upmarket ones in my area, along with typical cardboard ‘n plywood stuff. That era was more diverse in terms of residential architecture.

Definitely not, and even better, it's on a nice lot.

Roofers are fast AF. Just make sure they do all the flashing correct before then start putting tar paper down.

2700 sq ft. What kills me is it was supposed to have a basement under it. That would have been glorious. They found huge bou lders in the dirt and gave that idea a hard pass when they built it.
